We are a newly licensed and certified nursery with over 25 years of growing experience in carnivorous plants, tropical pitcher plants, sundews, bladderworts, butterworts and more. Online sales with popups and farmers market stalls once a month based in the Bay Area California.

At The Trappery, we grow what we sell.

Every plant offered in our shop is grown, maintained, and carefully conditioned under our care before it’s ever shipped to you. We do not drop-ship plants or resell stock straight from another nursery

Some of our plants begin as young specimens sourced from trusted, licensed U.S. growers. From there, they spend months growing and acclimating in our nursery, where we focus on healthy root development, stable growth, and long-term success in cultivation. Many are propagated directly in-house through division, cuttings, or seed.

Throughout this process, plants are:

• Grown in clean, pest-managed conditions
• Regularly inspected for health and vigor
• Acclimated to stable growing environments
• Prepared specifically for safe live-plant shipping
